MEDIA Margie Cunningham enjoys painting in a variety of media, including watercolor, pastel, oil and pencil. She finds there is always a new and exciting technique to try in each medium. She prefers a loose, impressionistic style in watercolor and pastel and a more realistic approach in oil. All of her paintings are original and one of a kind. SUBJECTS Margie covers a wide variety of subjects, including landscapes, florals, seascapes, sand dunes, still life, wildlife and abstracts. She creates large paintings for homes, business offices, nursing homes, and churches. AWARDS Margie's paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Texas and other states. She has also received 60 awards, including four "Best of Show" and she has many one-artist shows to her credit. MEMBERSHIP Margie is a member and past president of the Corpus Christi Art Guild, a charter member of the Art Center of Corpus Christi, 100 Shoreline Drive, a past member of the Watercolor Society of South Texas, and the Pastel and Colored Pencil Society. Recognized for her accomplishments, she is often called upon to judge area shows. CUSTOMIZING For your special decorating needs.
